ABOUT

Frank Capo

Modena Engineering was established in 1986 by Frank Capo. Over the decades, our journey has been one of continuous evolution and growth, adapting to the ever-changing landscape of the motorsport industry.

Today, our team boasts nearly a dozen highly-skilled professionals, each excelling in their respective fields. We take pride in serving both local and global markets across every motorsport discipline. Additionally, our expertise extends to the realm of classic car restoration, where we often manufacture components that are no longer produced.

Our unwavering commitment revolves around producing the strongest and lightest of products that consistently outshine our competition. We hold our reputation in the highest regard, built on our ability to deliver reliable, high-quality components.

We recognise that there can be no compromises when it comes to quality and materials. The components we create for the demanding motorsport environment are subjected to extreme conditions and intense stress. We meticulously test all our materials, sourcing them from trusted suppliers we’ve developed strong long-term relationships with.

Investing in cutting-edge machinery has empowered us to transform our designs to reality. Our strong partnerships with industry leaders like DMG Mori and Studer ensure that our equipment remains in optimal condition through regular inspections and upgrades.

Our components undergo a rigorous process, including case hardening in state-of-the-art, computer-controlled sealed quench furnaces. Prior to final manufacturing, each batch is scrutinised for case hardness, case depth, and core strength. Over the years, we've developed a close collaboration with a dedicated team of metallurgists who understand our exacting standards, enabling us to consistently and reliably heat treat our products to the same standards.
